Group Photo Shots  -- Friday June 6th

On Friday morning, June 6th, we'd like to get as many bikes as possible together for a group photo shot.  The one in 2007 turned-out well, but we scheduled the time a little too late (9:00am) in the morning as folks already wanted to be out on the road riding.  In 2007 we had about 67 bikes at Dallas Divide for the group shot (photo below).  For 2008, we'd really like to try to have everyone possible in the photo (plus it will make one awesome Gold Wing photo).  We will again be doing the group photo shot at Dallas Divide (WingNutZZ confirmed with the Colorado DOT in mid-April that this spot is open and can be used by us).  Please arrive promptly in the 7:50 to 8:00am timeframe -- the photo-shoot will behind at 8:00am sharp.  Be patient, as it will take a while to arrange all the bikes, and if everyone shows up it may be necessary to make two rose (just keep it safe while pulling into the area and arranging the bikes) -- we almost need an airplane to fly over and take our photo; now that would be awesome.  We will probably get a photo of the riders on the hill across the road like we did last year -- we'll see what wingit (our photographer) wants to do.

Not only is Dallas Divide a beautiful spot, with the San Juan Mountains in the background, it is also a good location where you can easily stop for the photo-shoot and then do the San Juan/Million Dollar Highway Loop (either direction), the Unaweep loop in the clockwise direction, or make it a relaxing day and do the Black Canyon or perhaps ride to Silverton for lunch and return.  Decisions, decisions, decisions!

In addition, since most folks seem to be coming to the "Hangin' at the Red Arrow" on Friday night, we will get a group shot of the riders that evening also.
